Ryan has pictures to make sure, but I'm pretty confident that he is right.
Gretchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16117304463964865093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5836165800257285478.post-28028651349625329692013-04-24T10:49:53.101-04:002013-04-24T10:49:53.101-04:00Ken,

We did not know what it was, but got some decent pictures. This morning we were able to identify it! If you want to see pictures you can email me at britfrau@msn.com.

Gretchen DowlingGretchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16117304463964865093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5836165800257285478.post-29997177332629012632013-04-20T06:34:23.779-04:002013-04-20T06:34:23.779-04:00Mark, in answer to your question, an "overfli...Mark, in answer to your question, an "overflight species" is a migratory bird that has its main breeding range south of here. Every spring, a few of these birds on their way north will overshoot their target and wind up here on the Lake Erie shoreline. Presumably after they get reoriented, they turn around and fly south to their breeding territory.
